Role Purpose:
The Communications and PR Associate plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s brand identity,
managing its reputation, and fostering strong relationships within its growing community. The ideal candidate is
a dynamic communicator who will craft compelling stories, manage social media engagement, coordinate media
relations, and amplify the company’s mission through strategic communication and public relations initiatives.
This individual will support the overall brand narrative, drive visibility, and enhance engagement across digital
and offline channels, while contributing to the organization’s long-term growth and community-building goals.


Key Responsibilities:


Communications:
● Develop and implement a comprehensive communication and social media strategy to promote the
organization’s programs, events, and member achievements.
● Create and curate engaging written, visual, and audiovisual content for social media, newsletters, press
releases, and the company website.
● Maintain a consistent and authentic brand voice across all communication channels.
● Monitor and respond to online engagement, feedback, and inquiries across platforms to foster positive
community relationships.
● Collaborate with internal teams to highlight member success stories and impact-driven initiatives.
● Uphold and enhance brand identity through storytelling, campaigns, and creative assets.
● Identify and engage potential partners, sponsors, and collaborators to expand visibility and value.
● Establish methods for collecting and analyzing community feedback.
● Stay informed on ecosystem trends to inform strategic communications and positioning.


Community Engagement:
● Drive initiatives that promote collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and engagement within the community.
● Design and execute outreach programs, networking events, and campaigns that strengthen brand and
community bonds.
● Partner with external organizations to co-host events and initiatives that add value to the community.
● Coordinate marketing and promotional activities for events, demo days, and workshops.
● Develop creative campaigns that amplify the brand’s voice and encourage participation across the
ecosystem.


Qualifications & Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
● Proven experience in brand communication, social media management, or public relations.
● Demonstrated experience launching or managing community-driven initiatives.
● Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
● Excellent project management, creativity, and organizational abilities.
● Experience within the coworking or innovation ecosystem is an added advantage.
