Role Purpose:

As a Project/Task Manager, you will assume a pivotal role in the monitoring and successful delivery of multiple client-facing and internal projects across our business operations, governance, and business strategy teams. You will be accountable for ensuring the effective allocation of tasks, the optimisation of workflows, and the adherence to project timelines, thereby enabling our teams to consistently achieve superior outcomes and uphold robust client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Coordination

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with the Project delivery teams
  • Assign tasks, set priorities, and manage workloads across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure milestone completion.

2. Stakeholder Alignment & Communication

  • Liaise with internal team members to ensure clarity of deliverables, deadlines, and quality expectations.
  • Serve as a single point of contact for escalation of task-related issues and resolution guidance.

3. Execution & Delivery

  • Track project performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality benchmarks.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project issues, delays, or bottlenecks.
  • Ensure deliverables meet internal quality standards and are completed on time and within scope.

4. Risk Management & Compliance

  • Anticipate potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Maintain awareness of project-related risks and escalate issues as necessary.

5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including status reports, meeting notes, and post-project reviews.
  • Prepare and present regular updates to leadership on project status, timelines, budgets, and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in project coordination or task management within the professional services sector.
  • Strong familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com, ClickUp, or Microsoft Planner).
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow up on tasks independently.
  • PMP or CIPMN certification (an advantage, but not mandatory).
